“Annie Idibia joins K1 on stage during his performance for 2baba” – Reactions.


Social media users are responding to a video featuring Nollywood actress Annie Idibia and renowned Fuji musician King Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 or Kwam1. The actress joined the singer on stage as he performed one of his hit songs, "Ade Ori Okin," during the Lagos Tourism NBC Trade Fair.

Many believed the Fuji maestro was using his song to take shots at 2baba, Annie’s estranged husband, in response to the video.

Last month, the movie star made a significant change on Instagram by deleting all her photos and posts. She later shared an appreciation post, thanking her support system for standing by her during a challenging time.

 

Annie, the mother of two, made her first public appearance by visiting her junior colleague, Regina Daniels, and her husband, Ned, at their home in Abuja. In a clip from the visit, Annie is seen holding Regina's hands and embracing Ned.

 

She also accompanied the couple on an official duty in Abuja, where they visited the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) headquarters and met with the new Director General of NYSC.

 

To refresh your memory, her legendary singer husband, 2Baba, announced their separation in January. He has since moved on with Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.

 

Blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus had alleged that Annie was in rehab and struggling during this time. Fortunately, singer Tiwa Savage and media personality Toke Makinwa supported her.

 

When 2Baba announced their separation, many female celebrities expressed their solidarity with Annie.
