Manchester City vs. Crystal Palace: Starting XI for the 2024/2025 EPL Clash

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has made three changes to the starting lineup that drew against Manchester United last Sunday. Young midfielder James McAtee replaces Phil Foden, who is sidelined due to an ankle injury. Rico Lewis comes in for Matheus Nunes at right-back, and Nico Gonzalez takes the place of Bernardo Silva, who, along with Nunes, is now on the bench.

Manchester City Starting XI: Ederson, Lewis, Dias, Gvardiol, O’Reilly, Kovacic, Nico, Gundogan, De Bruyne, McAtee, and Marmoush.

Substitutes: Ortega, Grealish, Doku, Bernardo, Reis, Savinho, Nunes, Khusanov, Bobb.

For Crystal Palace, skipper Marc Guehi and striker Eddie Nketiah are unavailable after receiving red cards in last week’s victory against Brighton. Chris Richards steps in for Guehi as the only change to manager Oliver Glasner’s starting lineup. Twenty-year-old Irish forward Franco Umeh-Chibueze is included on the bench.

Crystal Palace Starting XI: Henderson, Richards, Lacroix, Lerma, Mitchell, Kamada, Wharton, Munoz, Eze, Sarr, and Mateta.

Substitutes: Matthews, Ward, Matheus Franca, Clyne, Hughes, Chilwell, Devenny, Kporha.
