Nollywood actor and activist Yomi Fabiyi has openly accused the wife and brother of the late singer Mohbad of being involved in his untimely death and withholding critical information. Fabiyi, a vocal advocate for justice for Mohbad, stated during a recent TikTok live meeting that the late singer's wife, Wunmi, and his brother, Adura Aloba, should be arrested and prosecuted for their alleged involvement in his demise.
The sudden passing of Mohbad and the subsequent events, including his hasty burial in an undersized coffin, have sparked intense debate among fans and critics, creating rifts between him and his wife’s family.
During the live meeting, which was shared publicly, Fabiyi claimed that new evidence in the investigation revealed that Wunmi directly pushed Mohbad down the stairs during a heated argument, resulting in his broken neck from the fall. It was noted that during Mohbad’s widely publicized burial, his corpse was seen with a broken neck, which was later attributed to injuries sustained post-mortem to fit him into the coffin.
Citing a previous statement made by Wunmi’s elder sister, who mentioned seeing a bloodied blanket at the house, Fabiyi alleged that Adura was an accomplice in the incident but chose to remain silent and help cover it up. He concluded by stating that these factors contributed to the rushed burial and the discovery of Mohbad's bent neck forced into the small coffin.
